30 Days of Cosplay Day 22
22. Have you worn cosplay in a regular situation? (eg. at school, to work)
I haven’t worn it to school or work, even though I have been asked to. However, I have worn it to a park for gatherings/photoshoots and once even to a restaurant after one of the said gatherings (which was a mortifying experience and I never did it again XD).

This photo is my favorite. Not only was I caught mid-serenade, but it was mid-serenade about my love for Vic Mignogna, the most wonderful man in the universe. True love, never let it go.

19. What is your worst cosplay memory?
There’s a few pretty bad ones involving disqualifications and such, but hands down the worst memory for me was at my first Ohayocon. I was standing in the reg line, waiting to get my badge while wearing my Rikku cosplay. 18. What is your best cosplay memory?
This might seems silly and very small considering all I’ve done within cosplay, but I think my favorite memory is when I put on Rydia for the first time and my friends were like “holy shit…you MADE that?!”. It really made me feel proud of my work.

Nope. Forever alone and I like it.
I've only had my iPhone for over almost a year...
and I just now figured out how to make a custom ringtone -_-

15. Your least favorite thing about cosplay?
Sometimes I really dislike how expensive cosplay can be. I always try to make sure I don’t buy fabric unless I have a coupon and things like that but when you are insistent upon buying high quality materials it doesn’t even help that much. I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve blown on this hobby over the years.

I always have to have something on in the background so I’ve watched a bunch of movies and t.v. shows while working on cosplay.
I guess another habit could be to blatantly disregard reference pictures. I really enjoy taking creative liberties and usually end up with a final product that isn’t completely...

12. Your cosplay idol?
I don’t really have cosplay “idols” per say, but I do have cosplayers I’ve met whose craftsmanship I consider holy crap phenomenal. Names that come to mind are Jia Jem, Heza-chan, Yaya Han, Hime no Toki, and Korin. I know there’s more but those are the ones that jump out at me and serve as inspiration for improving my own skills.

I kinda plan things on a case by case basis but here’s my tentative lineup so far…
So I just watched The King's Speech...
Colin First and Geoffrey Rush make me so happy. I love movies with people who can actually act. Actually, on that note the whole cast was phenomenal.

This one was really easy. I’ve always been told I was most similar to Sheryl, personality-wise and I have to agree. We really are essentially the same person, although she’s a bit more outgoing than I am!

Rydia is still definitely the reigning champ for my favorite cosplay. Not only was she a dream costume but I can honestly say that it’s the one costume I’m 100% happy with, despite me making changes constantly.

Day 1: Your first cosplay?
